Imperial Mark XII with flash by Herbert George

Imperial Mark XII with flash by Herbert George
Medium format camera.

Imperial was a main camera brand of the Herbert George Co. Chicago / Illinois, a company founded by Herbert Weil and George Israel around 1945. Imperial box cameras were marketed under the brand name Herco as Herco Imperial. Imperial lasted as brand name for these cameras. In 1961 company ownership changed and the whole company was renamed to Imperial Camera Corp. . It made solid bakelite and plastic cameras - one of the first very colorful series of cameras.

Untested but appears to function properly.
This is a cool little medium format rangefinder. It does not have an aperture ring or any shutter settings. It has a flash that takes M3 flash bulbs. I will try to use this soon and post some pictures.
$39.99

This weeks feature : Nikon S2 with a 1:1.1 aperture lens

I recently picked up this beautiful Nikon S2 with an internal Nikkor 1:1.1, just a beautiful, and rare lens. This came in the original box and leather case. This camera and lens has barely been used. The glass is perfect. No mold, no hazing, no scratches or scuffs, Perfect. The Body is just about perfect also, the only items of note are a small mark on flash plate, from the 1 time a flash was put on. and a small, very shallow scratch on the base plate ( i think I might have done this putting the leather case back on, as it has the bolt on the case). This is a piece for a collector. If you are interested contact me with a serious offer only. Thanks for looking around my store. military collection is coming soon, check back in a few days.
