Pentax K1000 and 50mm f/2
The Pentax K1000 was manufactured in Japan by the Asahi Optical Company from 1976-1997. The K1000 which sold over 3 million units was loved for it's simplicity and sturdiness. Because it is inexpensive, durable and simple it still is the most popular SLR for students.
